We made a quick trip back to SF to celebrate with our friends over the past weekend! Saturday we celebrated with Diana and Andrew! On Sunday we celebrated with Adam and Mackenzie! Our intention was to ride Monday (Day 73), however, it turns out we celebrated a bit too much over the weekend. Cheers!
We rode a short 28 miles today to Damariscotta where we met Pepper at an ice cream shop!!! It rained all morning, which explains the lack of pictures today, so this was a welcome treat. We celebrated with ice cream, as per usual. Pepper picked us up from Damariscotta and we explored Freeport, home of… Continue reading Day 70 : rain on the parade

We woke up to 95% humidity with a high for the day of 80 degrees – that just sounds like fun! Ride profile and map: In total we gained 4,882 feet in 67 miles. The first climb was Brandon Gap with a 12% grade. This song came on as we rode up – perfect timing:… Continue reading Day 67 : beyond the gap
Short post (with mostly pictures) today because we’re tired. We rode 62 from North Creeek, NY to Brandon, VT with 4,275 of climbing. We took a ferry to cross into Vermont – a highlight of the trip. It costs $4, $2/person. Vermont’s steep hills and views did not disappoint.
Our eighth rest day had a great start with brunch at the café in Rochester, VT with David and Ashley. Maple syrup in and on everything! After breakfast we shopped in Woodstock for warmer bike clothes and went to Long Trail Brewing. Day 65 – Inlet to North Creek After spending a few days in… Continue reading Day 64 & 65: VT & more Adirondacks
We started off strong today with our bellies full of waffles at the lodge’s continental breakfast. This morning was the coldest with temperatures near 35 degrees. We will be shopping for warm weather gear tomorrow! At 7:30am we left the lodge with every layer we own on and still freezing. We rode to the nearest… Continue reading Day 63 : two familiar faces & a van
